  • Do greet men casually with a nod or verbal greeting and women with a hello hug or a cheek kiss;formally with a handshake

  • Do use name titles for formal greeting

  • Do be direct and to the point in communicating,but soften the impact of criticism with a joke on yourself

  • Do know that punctuality for social events is not normally achieved but in business is preferred.

  • Do be courteous and professional in business meetings and decision-making

  • Do open gifts privately

  • Do Not show to be touchy and openly affectionate unless with close friendship. An arms length personal space is the normal culture

  • Do not engage in public nudity

  • Do not curse with foul language

  • Do not wear camouflage clothing

  • Do not engage in illegal drugs. There are stiff penalties that are enforced

  • Do not engage in bargaining or long delays in decision. It is not the norm but you may politely ask
